What do I enjoy most about tutoring? šŸ˜

I love connecting one on one and developing a strong rapport with my students as well as witnessing not only their academic growth, but also their social, mental and personal development as young people. I find great enjoyment in facilitating those 'light bulb' moments in students and equipping them with the knowledge they need to become more confident and self-assured.

My Strengths as Tutor šŸ’Ŗ

My organisational skills, diligence and dedication to helping young people achieve, learn and grow, along with my aptitude for developing a strong rapport with students are just some of the strengths I possess as a tutor. I hold a genuine passionate and zest for learning, seeing students thrive and begin to develop a new found confidence in themselves. Iā€™m patient, empathetic and have the ability to explain and break down complex concepts to students through the use of language and instructional strategies from a strengths based approach, enabling students to gain a deeper level of understanding.

Most important things I can do for a student šŸ…

As a tutor, the most important things I can do for my students is to listen, give them time and create a safe space for them where they feel comfortable enough to ask questions and leave each session having learnt something new. I can empower students by acknowledging and tailoring learning content to meet each of their specific and individualised needs.
