What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I mostly enjoy watching children learn and grow, and see their marks following that flow of progression. I very much enjoy sharing my knowledge to younger people, which is why I intend to teach. It's extremely rewarding seeing children reach their full potential, and knowing I had helped with that process.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are definitely patience, explaining, and kindness. Children don't pick up information immediately, so being patient is imperative in sustaining a good flow of teaching and improvement. My explanation skills have always been one of my own personal strengths, as I know what it's like to not understand a task or subject. I tailor my explanation to the child's personality and needs. Finally, kindness is always the obvious, and perhaps most essential element of teaching or tutoring; children need a person they can be honest with about their abilities, without feeling judged.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for their student, is tailor their teaching application to the student's needs and personality. Each individual is different, and there is no single one way of teaching. I believe students incredibly appreciate a teacher or tutor that will listen to their needs, and to see where their main focal point should be, and start from there. Another thing I believe a tutor should do that is particularly important is to be there for the student. People make mistakes and nothing changes overnight, so being patient, understanding, and kind, is so important.
