What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy knowing that my students feel more confident in themselves and their own abilities, and that my assistance has helped with their own development.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my biggest strengths are my patience, and my ability to break a problem down into multiple simpler parts and explain those parts individually. As a tutor, this is important for students to develop understanding of the process behind solving a problem. By scaffolding, you effectively give them another chance to learn this process. Patience is also necessary with students who aren't quite understanding, and often asking questions in another way helps a lot with that.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is let them gain competence and confidence in their own ability. The ultimate goal of a tutor is for the student to no longer need the tutor, and for the student to learn the ability to solve problems and teach themselves. This will ultimately help them in life because they can rely on themselves, rather than being reliant on someone else.
