What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐Ÿ˜

I enjoy most the conversation when it comes to tutoring. It reminds me that 80% of the general understanding happens in class, or when you participate to the lesson.

My Strengths as Tutor ๐Ÿ’ช

I am a very optimistic person and my desire for the student to learn something is higher than my desire to teach it. My creativity can bring another point of view to the tutoring, and I want the pupil to have as many possibilities as he can to understand and learn.

Most important things I can do for a student ๐Ÿ…

I consider listening and adapting two very important skills that a tutor can apply during a session. Tutors are supposed to listen to the students, their needs, what they do not understand, what they do understand, and how they can understand it better. Therefore, we have to adapt the class according to what we see.

This tutor brings a unique blend of linguistic skills and cultural understanding to the tutoring space, fluent in French, English, and Spanish, and also learning sign languages. Her passion for languages is complemented by her academic pursuit in English Philology, aiming to specialise in teaching. She leverages these skills effectively while volunteering to teach French to diverse groups, enhancing her ability to connect with and educate students from various backgrounds.

Experienced in Educational Volunteer Work

Demonstrating strong commitment to education outside formal settings, this tutor has volunteered extensively, including teaching French using English as the medium of instruction. These experiences have honed her adaptability and communication skillsโ€”essential traits for personalising student learning experiences. Her hands-on approach helps build confidence and competence among learners.

Engaging Educator with Artistic Flair

Beyond traditional academics, she infuses creativity into her teaching methods through her background in dance and music. As a former dance teacher assistant and an active participant in arts, she understands the importance of engaging students not just intellectually but also creatively. This holistic approach fosters a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore new areas of interest while reinforcing their educational foundations.
