What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What excites me most about the prospect of being a tutor is being able to see a kid's self belief and confidence soar by gaining a greater understanding of a concept that they may have been struggling with. I find that to be incredibly rewarding and would be extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to impact someones life like that.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

one of my strengths is that I did not particularly excel in high-school. The reason that this is a strength is that over the past year I have taken the time to learn from it and get a greater understanding for why that was. I believe this also gives me a good understanding of why some students don't properly utilise their full ability. I am patient and understanding of the fact that everyone learns differently, I take great pride in helping people appreciate that they're highly capable even if they feel that they are not.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Increasing their self confidence in their abilities. I used to hate maths and thought I was always going to be hopeless, then I had a teacher who completely changed my perspective. I felt proud when solving something I couldn't previously, it made me feel capable of achieving more and taking pride in my work and myself. I believe that a tutor's/teacher's greatest skill is being able to give students the chance to change their perspective of themselves by showing them what they are capable of compared to what they they thought.
