What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy passing on the knowledge, that I have accumulated in my years of studying at school and university, to other students currently studying and maybe even struggling in the subjects that I have learned. Moreover, in the past when I have tutored friends or family, I have always felt a sense of satisfaction in being able to support them and help them understand the concepts that they were previously struggling with, every time that I have been able to do this it has provided me with a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of joy.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

In my experience with tutors, I have always found that the best tutors are the ones that are patient and take their time explaining concepts and solutions and don't mind explaining the same thing twice, if the student does not understand the explanation the first time. Moreover, after the student has understood a specific concept, it is important for the tutor to then direct the student to all relevant practice material and to not show them the solution if they struggle with a specific question but to guide them in the right direction and help them attain the answer themselves.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Always be available for the student and be willing to lend a helping hand at times of distress. Moreover, it is crucial that a tutor is patient with the student and that they help and encourage them at all times. Finally, a tutor must understand what method of teaching works best for the student and ensure that they are always using this particular method with the student in order to help the student benefit as much as possible from the tutorial sessions.
