What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy building a positive relationship with my student, helping them develop a positive relationship with learning. Through increasing their interest in the subject, it will motivate student to put in extra effort thus improving academic results.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can connect with students, understanding why they are struggling with the topic using personal experiences. I am also able to communicate in three different languages (English, Mandarin and Cantonese), better accommodating for students coming from non-English speaking backgrounds, by either explaining the topic in another language (if the student speaks any other languages I speak) or breaking down complex topics into simple English.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing I could do for my students is to inspire them through learning. For example, students can understand the complex topic better through application to daily situations. In Mathematics, this will better prepare them for complex questions and PSMTs as students will be learning real life applications as well as problem solving as a part of understanding a new topic. In addition, students will be more likely to be interested in the subject (rather than being lost in complex topics) thus motivating them to explore their potentials, achieving better academic results.
