What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy watching the students grow academically and seeing their improvement from when they started to the end of the year. As well as seeing the confidence they form in succeeding in their studies which opens them up to new opportunities and excelling to a bright future. Tutoring is overall a very fulfilling job where you can provide students with the additional support they need to become their best selves and help them form a passion for their respective subject.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
Personally, over the years I have attended many different tutors and experienced a variety of tutoring styles. I understand how important a tutor can be in a student's life and I want to offer the same support I have received over the years by providing students with confidence in their studies in order to excel. Furthermore, I am a strong communicator and always intend to explain concepts in the simplest form and in different methods. I also have a unique perspective as a recent VCE student from Mac.Rob myself and am able to meet the distinct demands of students and their various learning styles.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I think students attend tutors in the first place for support, for a tutor I think this means support not only academically but also via alleviating their doubts, correcting study techniques, building confidence and offering the general support that they need to succeed. I believe this can be achieved by maintaining a constant channel of communication where the student feels comfortable and able to communicate with their tutor any questions or queries they may have, thus most importantly helping the student feel like they have a constant supporter rooting for their success.
