What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring to most is a profession in which students receive extra help to get better grades. However, tutoring is much more than that. As a tutor, I set an example for my students and motivate them. I work with them to build their confidence and focus on their strengths and weaknesses. I mentor my students by assisting them with their academic queries and I motivate my students to strive and set ambitious goals.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, patience and understanding are essential. I ensure that my students feel safe by creating a nurturing environment. Students feel they can open up about concerns they have. With my student, I have discussions about goals they want to strive towards as well as discuss with parents their expectations to ensure I can tailor my content to better suit the student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Inspire students to take charge of their academic future and career as well as strive to be the best version of themselves. Students look up to their tutors and mentors, and as someone who does both, it is extremely important for me to motivate them and encourage them to be successful in not only their academics but as a person. Listening and helping students is an essential skill to also practice when tutoring students.
