What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favourite part about tutoring is seeing the development in a student. It's gratifying to see a student finally grasp a difficult concept and to see them feel proud of themselves.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think I am a very good problem solver and communicator and these skills translate well into tutoring. If a student is not understanding something I am good at adapting and changing the way I teach the topic to suit the things they are struggling with. I am also good at connecting with the student and maintaining their interest in the subject. I have always performed very well in selective school and State exams, and I have a good understanding of how to efficiently prepare for these exams to attain a high score.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing for a tutor to do is to help the student enjoy learning because this is the primary way to motivate a student to work harder. When a student is actively interested in what they are learning they will absorb more information and will naturally progress faster than a student who is not interested. I think the teacher plays a very important role in a student's interest in a subject and to me, this is the most important thing for a tutor to do. I also think it is important that a tutor should teach the student how to think, not just how to memorise formulas or methods.
