The most important things a tutor can do for a student: - help students answer questions (especially exam type questions) - motivate students to succeed in mathematics by changing the students view of not approaching maths as a chore but something that they enjoy and is an interest - helping struggling students catch up on content and/or questions at their own pace due to the time constraints of school teachers - teaching students new concepts so that when they learn the concept again at school they are highly familiar with it and can stay on top of their studies
