Throughout my high school education, I've always had a passion for helping my peers to understand the coursework when they were struggling. I found great satisfaction out of helping them make the transition from a place of confusion to a place of understanding, as well as aiding them in building their confidence so that they can approach the more challenging problems on their own.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As someone who has just finished high school myself, I have the ability to put myself in a learners shoes to best understand the method that will make the most sense to them, be that through use of analogies, visualisations, logical reasoning or other teaching methods.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider confidence building to be a priority for a tutor. If a student is not confident in their own abilities, they will not be able to grow as a learner and eventually take on the more challenging problems themselves. A pivotal element in building confidence in students is creating a friendly and welcoming environment in which they can reach their full potential, as without this they may feel unsure of whether it is acceptable to ask questions, which is the worst case scenario as a tutor.
