Elsie had no problem using rules to find coordinates. She was able to understand the concept of linear graphs having the rule y=mx+c, as well as visualise changes to graphs due to changes in the rule.
Elsie could use some improvement with the technical side of drawing graphs (ensuring intervals are evenly spaced, thinking about axis intercepts) and the calculation of gradients. Everything she needs to know is on her cheat sheet, but some extra practice with textbook questions would help build her confidence.

By the end of the lesson, Elsie had a very good understanding of all the topics and had completed her cheat sheet. She was able to work through the examples with ease.
Elsie should focus on finalising her cheat sheets (as it is helpful for the exam and also serves as revision). The perfect cheat sheet is one that makes sense to her and contains anything she might forget, including her most common mistakes. They only need to be neat and colourful if that's what helps her find the information she needs. For any topics she feels less confident in, she can go through her textbook and complete the review questions at the end of the chapter.

Baylee did very well on her test, particularly with finding unknown angles in shapes and on parallel lines.
In the future, Baylee would benefit from attempting questions that seem difficult and being open to making mistakes in order to work her way through longer problems. Particularly in problems that require multiple steps, trial and error can be a great way to work towards a solution. With cartesian planes, Baylee struggles to identify which quadrant a coordinate belongs in when only one of the values is negative. It would help if she focused on one value at a time (i.e. finding the x coordinate and then the y coordinate, rather than trying to plot the point immediately).

Baylee's mental addition was very good today, and she had little trouble making quick calculations to find angles that added up to 180 degrees. She also did quite well in identifying different types of angles.
Baylee needs a bit of a refresher and some more practice with the basics of algebra.
