What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
There are many things I enjoy about tutoring, but the thing I believe makes me passionate about it is the mutual growth of both the student and the tutor. It is extremely rewarding seeing a student improve their studying skills and comprehension of a subject. But is also the student that makes the tutor grow as a teacher, person and student. That relationship of reciprocal development is what makes me want to keep doing what I do.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe my strengths as a tutor are:
My positivity. I always encourage students to keep learning even when things get hard. I let them know I strongly believe in them.
I relate to them. I am a student myself, so I always try to bring to the student what I'd like my professors to bring me as well.
I like to explain topics from different points of view. I don't think there's only one way to look at things so, even with Mathematics, I enjoy seeing different possibilities of how I can interpret and explicate topics that are beneficial for the student.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I consider the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to make them believe in themselves, bring them confidence, and to equip them with the necessary tools to do better/their best in their studies.
