What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the challenge of explaining the same concept in many ways to suit the unique ways students can view problems. I believe benefits myself by reinforcing and deepening my understanding of fundamental concepts. Additionally, I enjoy being part of this beneficial service for students, as often the specialised attention can lead to incredible practical, as well as mental, progress.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to pick up information quickly and I endeavour to explain concepts in a variety of ways, while maintaining cognisant of the student's mental state. I have anxiety and was a very stressed student so I feel I am particularly tuned into taking into consideration the needs of individual students. I am not afraid to admit if I am wrong or not sure about something and work diligently to make sure I am assisting students in a useful manner.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing is to assist in the development of a student's thought process when tackling challenging academic scenarios. This may be through encouragement and confidence building, the development of problem solving tools and strategies or through finding a way to make the content interesting and engaging for the student. Inspiring or feeding a student's curiosity for learning is my ultimate goal.
