What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Sharing an understanding of content that will help the student have clarity in what they are learning and feel less stressed about the subject as well as gaining confidence.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am able to find different ways of explaining content if the student is not understanding it with the first method. This helps them learn better as I can tutor in a way that suits their learning style
Most important things I can do for a student π
Building a connection with the student so they are comfortable to ask questions and build their understanding in an engaging way. Always ensuring that the student knows they are doing well and that they can improve with time.

Alex has taken great notes in her new theory book which will be very useful for revising. She has done well in the 2 practice exams that we went through together. When we were working on linear questions she is definitely improving her understanding and is able to do some without assistance.
Alex's understanding of rearranging formulas needs a bit of work so that she can easily find variables in equations. She should also continue practicing under test conditions to improve her performance under pressure.

Alex is doing well understanding how to increase or decrease a number by a certain percentage. She has also made a great start to her theory book which she should finish before her maths exam. Alex is able to complete most of the areas in this unit very well and she has developed a strong understanding on how to use formulas correctly. She was also better at ensuring the right unit of measurement was used which we looked at last week
There is not much Alex needs to improve on for this area of study but if she wishes she could put some work into the optional questions provided like the one on surface area as this topic wasnβt covered in class.
