What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring is an immensely rewarding experience in which I get to connect with students of different age groups and see them improve their academic results as well as guide them to build a resilient mindset optmising their mental health and strength.
Through helping students I as a tutor, will also be sharpening and constantly improving my academic work ethic and will be further improving on leadership and communication skills for my chosen career.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor I believe I will be able to create a credible connection with my students in which they will be comfortable to seek help for subject doubts and general advise positively affecting their overall performance.
I have strong content knowledge for the subjects I have mentioned and as someone who is still quite fresh out of the primary/junior years I will be able to provide study advise and content knowledge in a way which will solidfy their understanding of the content/syllabus relevent to what they will be taught in their coming years.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Students expect their tutors to be attentive and understanding about their academic needs. Students need a tutor who knows what they are teaching and will do so a manner that will be clear, concise and relevant.
The most vital thing a tutor can do for their students is have an outgoing and optimistic personality, in which the learning environment feels vibrant and the tutor is 100% directed at what the student is asking for. This will inturn help tutors deliver to their full potential which will naturely be in a clear, concise and relevant manner.

Student performed well in the yearly exam and was able to talk through her solutions whilst justifying the calculations she performed to solve the questions. She has begun to use the P/P learning strategy which helped her solve multi step questions and thus was able to swiftly approach challenging questions with little support.
A little confidence boost needed to stop student from second guessing het answers and needs to revise the content taught to her every week so she can remember the concepts taught to her. It was difficult for her to understand ratios however her attitude towards learning the new topic was exceptional.
