What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Personally, I find enjoyment in learning how individuals approach solving problems and guide them in their development. Another benefit to working in tutoring is that a collaborative environment can be facilitated when a student and their tutor co-operates together. This comes from having a mutual understanding of the students long-term academic goals, along with their skills and capabilities.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths lie in my ability to listen to my students' needs to improve their confidence in learning and putting in the effort to find new methods to teach different learning styles. Having compassion, out of the box thinking, empathy and patience combined with assertiveness, practicality, adaptability and self-sufficiency are qualities I am able to provide in an academic environment. I have a strong understanding of my capacity for my abilities and the weight of the responsibility I hold when I provide services for care and educating children. I keep my mind, ear and eyes open for anything

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To provide for a student is to regard and respect them as an individual to provide the support they need to achieve their academic goals. There is no cookie cutter method to support a students learning needs. The best a tutor can do is spend the time understanding through observation and open conversation in order to set realistic achievable goals/milestones and suitable healthy study habits. Furthermore, I would like to outline that as a tutor it's important to recognise and understand my role to potentially influence students path.
