I enjoy helping students understand a concept that they might find challenging, and when they eventually realise the steps in solving the question, we both get a rewarding and satisfied feeling. I am patient, and let students take the time they need to understand the problem. If they happen to be stuck, I would question what and where they are unsure about and assist them from there. Tutors need to be understanding and patient while knowing that students may not have the required knowledge to solve a simple question quickly. They may also have knowledge gaps which the tutor will need to discover and revise with the student for their question solving ability to improve.
