Charlie and I worked on variety of NAPLAN booklets, questions consisted of the topics place value, analogue and word formatted clocks, pattern, 2D and 3D shapes- cube, cylinder, nonagon, rectangle etc, subtraction and addition, estimating prices, solving long division and multiplication questions, viewing pie chart and solving questions accordingly as well as finding the speed applying the formula of Speed= Distance/Time. Charlie was assisted out through out the session.

Variety of questions of all the topics were tested with minimal help, working out patterns- prime & composite numbers, shapes and their sides, naming angles- acute, obtuse and right, solving long worded questions, interpreting data and solving given questions, adding decimals vertically, simplifying fractions and comparing decimals e.g. 0.7 < 0.5.

Furthermore, Charlie and I worked on variety of booklets that consisted the questions of graphing, interpreting data, answering questions relating to the given graph, differentiating the different types of graphs such as pie chart, line graph, column graph, tally chart, bar graph and pictograph. Charlie did well identifying the different types of graphs, interpreting the graphs and drawing a column graph on his own. Moreover, While supervised Charlie solved variety of division questions utilising the formal long division method on his own.
