What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy teaching younger students and helping them understand topics that may have seem challenging at the start. It makes me extremely happy and more motivated when I see their growth and when they complete topics that they thought were initially difficult.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Helping my students to learn by understanding rather than repetition. I believe in sitting with my students until they completely understand how to solve through a problem and the steps that they need to take. If I am able to achieve this, then they should be able to solve through any problem that is similar.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be there with their student to help them understand what they do know and what they do not know. The first step in teaching for me is to get the student to figure out what they do not understand and help them through it so that they will be able to solve so many more problems. This helps a lot more on exams as questions will not always be the same and if all the student has done is repeat problems that are the same with different numbers, they will struggle to figure out what to do if a similar problem was proposed with different variables.
