What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I appreciate when a group of people dedicate their time to learning something. It removes the need to either entertain ourselves or work under constraint. When the mind is stimulated enough and the topic has been correctly introduced to the group, times goes fast during classes.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I have enough curiosity to search for better answers when the student requires one. I value the ability to deconstruct abstract concepts when teaching sciences. I like to describe processes, undress the problems that makes something looks counter-intuitive to the mind.Most important things I can do for a student π
My relatively young age gives me this ability to connect with students differently than older tutors. I had the chance to experience it from my (young) Physics teacher at High-School. He really helped me understand the power that a tutor can have on your academic path. I think the most important part of being a tutor is the ability to make the student perform at its best, independently of his profile. Which means adapt ourselves to the perspective that student X has on the problem, and vice-versa for student Y, while remaining comprehensible for both.
