What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most thing I enjoy about tutoring is the feeling of proud and fulfilment when seeing my students friends moving from dependence to independence - able to or trying to solve the questions by themselves - the confidence and resilience they have in their mind.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

1. I am bilingual in English and Chinese - not just mean that I can tutor Chinese students well but all students from different culture backgrounds. I can relate to them - studying abroad alone/ using their second language to study all subjects, and I can use appropriate and simple words to tutor them. 2. I work in a private health care clinic. My clients have a wide range of ages from newborn to elderly. I know how to communicate with students at different ages/ periods, adjust my tone/ selection of words, and individualise the program accordingly. 3. I have been tutoring for a long long time - very experienced!! The subjects I teach including Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Chinese and Anatomy- Health science related. 4. I aim to teach my students how to SOLVE THIS TYPE of questions not how to ANSWER THIS question.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Responsible Patience Confidence - in the subjects a tutor teach Creative - in teaching method and explains question Friendly Honesty - no one knows everything, be honest about what you don’t know rather than make up a wrong answer on the spot (pretend confident and under control), do some research and get back to the question :))
