During high school to VCE, I have been taught by numerous tutors and so have seen several different methods/styles of teaching. Furthermore, as a recent student, I am able to understand how students think and feel and thus tailor my teaching with this in mind. Moreover, I am committed to ensuring that my student understands the content taught. If not, I will try multiple methods and ways of teaching.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be encouraging and supportive, understanding that mistakes and errors are a part of the learning process. Additionally, tutors should encourage a lot of questions from the student. Tutors should also not generalise their teaching but rather tailor it to each student, and if possible make it enjoyable. Lastly, it is important to be on the same page as the student, finding out what they are struggling with and require more emphasis on as well what they find easy, to ensure productive and worthwhile tutoring sessions.Subjects Tutored 🎓
