What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is that not only is it beneficial to the students, but it is also helping myself to grow and develop my own leadership skills. I also love that I am able to help the students, because as a student myself I understand how much guidance can help to go a long way and how frustrating it can be to be left to figure a problem out alone.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths are that I am very patient and understanding. I will not get irritated or annoyed if the student is having trouble understanding concepts, because I know that they are trying, and if I were to start getting impatient it could start to affect them negatively and take away any enjoyment from learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing is to still keep the learning process enjoyable. Only this way will the student continue to want to learn even outside of the tutoring hours. If studying and work is made to seem like something they just have to complete and tick off, or if tutoring sessions become a time they dread every week, this well spend less time on it and this negative view of learning could stay with them as they grow older.
