In general, with practice and understanding, Izzy should be able to keep doing well!

Izzy is pretty good at time scheduling and has no problems there! To be honest, she did mention she had a slightly problem with ordering decimals that were really close together but other than that she seems to be doing fine with decimals in general.
Drawing back onto a little revision of what we did last week, Izzy probably needs a little tip to remember what indices mean. She definitely knows how to apply the maths she has learnt but it is more simply a matter of remembering it and making the connections, such as realising that conversion between percentages and decimals can be done directly rather than converting from percentage to fraction to decimal. Izzy seemed to understand this so I don't believe she will have problems, but as usual, more practice will help!

We had a little quiz on probability that was supposed to be a little more wordy and confusing but Izzy did very well and should have no problems with the homework that was assigned for this week! We also did a little extra when it came to indices, and looked at square roots and how they relate to squares. Practicing times tables also went pretty well and overall as usual Izzy is doing pretty well!!
Izzy had a bit of trouble when it came to indices, or 'to the power of', although she was still in the middle of covering it. She would often mistake a number squared as being a number multiplied by 2, rather than by itself one time as an example. Given some more practice, she should be able to develop a better understanding of the concept so this shouldn't hopefully be too much of an issue!

The content that Izzy had recently covered, such as negative numbers and chance and probability, seem to be going quite well according to Izzy. She did perfectly on the negative numbers mini quiz I gave her and even her initial understanding of chance and probability supplemented by her increasingly better understanding of fractions and percentages shows she is doing quite well with these topics! I have assigned her homework based on negative numbers but she should have no problem and it is essentially review for her! Very well done :)
Izzy did really well this session, she also made less careless mistakes but of course we would like to minimise that if we can! All on all, very good for this session!
