What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
It is an awful feeling to fall behind in class, whether it be due to lack of motivation, not understanding the teaching style of the teacher, or simply just needing more practice. I love to see students become more confident in themselves and their abilities. The one-on-one focus that is tutoring exponentially helps the student in both their understanding of the subject and their attitude towards school/homework. Ultimately, I love to see others succeed academically and to help any way I can to achieve their goals.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am patient and understanding when it comes to maths in particular. It is a subject that requires effort and commitment, and I am more than willing to supply the student with the 'tools' to be able to build upon their knowledge and for them to hopefully see that their hard work pays off. I also have an extremely strong work ethic, and will prepare relevant exercise/flashcards/quizzes for students to encourage them to practice 'actively' using their knowledge.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I consider patience and dedication to be the most valuable qualities a tutor can provide. The student needs to feel supported in a learning environment to succeed, especially if it is a subject they aren't particularly strong at. She should practice her times tables over the holidays as these are a core part of primary school maths. She should also complete a few more mathsonline tasks before the school term ends.
