What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy creating specialised programs that are specific to the individual needs and interests. I enjoy having thoughtful discussions with students about the way they think, and explore how they can think in different ways to solve a problem. I especially enjoy the 'I get it' moments when a student has a breakthrough.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths are my compassion, understanding and nurturing for a student. I truly care for my students and want them to achieve their best in terms of their learning outcomes, and in their perspective towards learning and goal setting. I am a committed and professional teacher, who strives towards achieving the best outcomes. This can and often does vary between students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Planning for student success is integral. This means understanding the students needs, current situations, their goals and planning for the best outcome to achieve those goals.
Importantly, a tutor can offer their perspectives on the best way to understanding a concept and solving a problem. A tutor should also offer alternative ways that may suit the student.
A tutor should always demonstrate their problem solving abilities and allow individual exploration of thought. They are integral in providing the foundations for success in achieving true and meaningful understanding.
