What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I would want to create an environment where the students are able to freely ask questions they need without hesitation.
Instilling confidence and hope in students so they may achieve their personal best and maximise their potential.
Tutoring is a very rewarding profession for me as I get to help students one on one and create student based learning approaches that is best suited to for them. I am also looking forward into developing friendly, trusting and professional student/tutor relationships.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I highly believe in Empathy and compassion when working with my students. Having been a student who has experienced struggles myself, I am able to empathise when a student is frustrated or nervous about the content they are learning.
I am able to support, encourage and motivate them by building their confidence. I will take them step by step through new content material or when revising over a topic they struggle to grasp.
Communication is also key to helping my students achieve great results. My effective communication skills and my highly adaptive teaching methods to all kinds of learning styles allows me to simplify complex concepts into language that my students will understand. I am able to provide them with emotional support as well.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Build their confidence in their weak areas - I will want to see all my students feel they can overcome challenges and difficulty in their work through my help and support.
I want my students to be inspired as I have been inspired by my teachers in the past, including when times were tough - to never give up on a student is essential.
Also being compassionate and understanding when you as a student is struggling to understand - I am patient and can openly communicate the steps that your student can take to better understand a concept or question.
