What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
My personal motivations to become a tutor lie in my desire to help others. The joy in seeing someone struggling with a concept and finally being able to grasp it is immeasurable.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Tutoring cannot be based only upon the tutors academic achievement. Interpersonal skills play a key role too. I am a hardworking, friendly, and most importantly patient. I have very strong communication skills. During my Highschool journey I was lucky enough to experiment with numerous study techniques and now have a clear understanding of different strategies specific to subjects and assignments. This skill of mine will further enhance my tutoring abilities.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to listen to their needs for their subject and pinpoint the exact cause for their frustration/ troubles. By first realizing the area of improvement time is used more efficiently for studying. Next the tutor should be able to connect and communicate with the student to understand their studying style and be able to provide specific advice to tackle subjects. It's important to create an environment where questions are welcomed as that can stop from snowballing effect of confusion. It's best to get doubts cleared from start!
