What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find it really satisfying and rewarding when I explain a concept and It suddenly clicks in somebody's head, that's why I am very presistent in getting concepts to make sense, and ultimately find it really satisfing to tutor people. I also really enjoy trying to logically lay out my thought processes so that it's easily understandable for the student. I think doing that helps the student as well as myself build a stronger intuition and conceptial understaning of the topics, as well as helps indentify the concepts I don't fully understand so that i can address it and further strengthen it.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
When learning maths, I've always been focused on understanding the concepts and building intuition, as opposed to just rote memorising formulas and definitions and the like. I'm also really persistent in getting the student to understand the concepts. Because of my strong conceptual understanding, I think I can help the student build a stronger intuition for the topics, and I can also use multiple approaches to explain a lot of the different concepts.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing as a tutor is encouraging the student to want to learn, and to actively seek out explanations and ask questions. Even if a tutor can explain something very clearly, a student who does not want to learn will probaly not pay much attention, and the explanations will go over their head. By building a rapport with them and fostering curiosity, they will be much more willing to learn and will make the effort to try to understand the differnet concepts.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
