What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable aspect of tutoring is seeing the progression and development of students. Not only does it reassure yourself that you are helping them to the fullest extent, but also that they are growing and gaining confidence in their work and other areas of their lives.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience. I believe myself to be very understanding and sympathetic towards students, and this is reflected in the way I explain concepts and break down questions. Communication. I aim not to overload students with too much information, and attempt to adapt my delivery to the individual, a skill I learned through coaching. Organisation and time management. I place strict discipline on myself when studying about organisation, and I believe this mentality is transferred to my lessons and my expectations on students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing I have gathered from my own mentoring and tutoring experience is independence and accountabililty for students. I believe that as a tutor, being able to improve a students understanding and knowledge on a subject is a key sub section, but assisting the student in self motivating, doing more than what may be necessary and striving for more for themselves sees students continuously grow and develop in both maturity and their mentality towards work.
