What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The ability to help others in anyway possibe and the outcome that it brings to students is always satisfying. The outcome that tutoring brings to students allows them to have a new found understanding and seeing this is it's own reward. Teaching also provides me with a new way to view a subject which develops my own understanding of the subject. Tutoring enables an environment where learing is prioritised which is the environment I enjoy being in.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, placing myself in the shoes of the student allows me to understand where they are or how they view a subject, which enables me to assist them with a more focused approach. Breaking everything down in easy step makes the topic seem easier and allows students to be able to confidently approach any question. Being knowlegable in subjects such as maths not only allows me to show how to gain understanding but also how to succeed in the subject.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The main priority of a tutor is ensuring the student understands the subject so this is what they should aim to achieve in any way possible. I told Will just to relax and do the best maths he can during the exams. He cannot afford to make silly mistakes so he should just breathe and calm down during the exam time. He also needs to be switched on and give it his all.

The explaining to Will worked again as usual but I also let Will work on some of the questions that he got wrong but knew how to do. That way he seemed more confident to approach questions by himself.
Will seems to be more studious and more able to tackle difficult questions himself while getting the important ones right. However, with the methods exams next week, he really needs to again lift the motivation and drive to finish off well which is an area that can always be improved on.

My explanations seemed to work and Will demonstrated that he understood areas he couldn't do. Just going through the exams seems to help as areas he couldn't do are covered. THis was also his best score so far for the tech active test.
This is a theme mainly for this week, but there seems to be some form of laziness when doing the practise exam. He should have gotten many more marks if he just went through with the working. This should be practised as the mindset during the exam should be to attempt everything to the best of his ability.

There were still too many questions unanswered in the exams and he should just give it a go. Careless mistakes seems to be the theme for this week as there were so many marks Will should have gotten.
