My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can easily communicate effectively with a range of ages, and am innovative in creating new techniques for understanding difficult concepts (such as using diagrams, analogies, etc.). Ultimately, I have a genuine interest in facilitating growth for students. However, I don't have a formal teaching qualification and have limited disciplinary techniques, but hopefully being a tutor could help me to develop skills against these weaknesses and eventually overcome them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can pass onto a student is confidence in that learning area, as confidence can act as a motivator for improvement. Whilst helping a pupil to overcome their challenges is definitely required, I think that providing students with the tools to overcome similar, future problems is far more effective, as it will help to build their self-confidence in that field. Inspiring a student is another important gift a tutor can pass on, and the combination of confidence and motivation are what I believe to be the key instruments in achieving this.
