What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find tutoring an extremely rewarding experience as it enables me to be directly involved in the students' academic journey and motivate them to succeed. I find that being able to observe the student gain confidence in their study skills and abilities is encouraging not only to the student, but to me as a tutor. On top of this, tutoring as a job differs from regular part-time jobs. I enjoy the freedom and flexibility it allows, and the challenge it provides in terms of interpersonal and communication skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor I will strive to be as encouraging and motivating as possible, enabling the student(s) to achieve their academic goals. I believe I have the interpersonal and technical skills necessary to enable the student to gain confidence in their knowledge of the subject, and also develop good study habits that will help them in the future.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe a tutor should be able to engage, encourage, and effectively communicate with the student to help gain confidence in their studies. On top of this, a tutor should also be a good listener to the student and be receptive to any questions and comments they may have.
