What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love having the time to truly listen to what students need. Seeing my pupils' confidence grow and developing the courage to blossom. I love building rapport with the students and making them smile.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor straddles the line between teacher and friend, and they are often closer in age to their students, making them more relatable and more likely to help their students get comfortable. A tutor's unique position could add a new dimension to a student’s learning, as they can receive guidance from someone who is both relatable but also experienced and older and qualified in their subject. Tutors are excellent role models of academic success, but they also know what it’s like to struggle in school, as it would be hard to find anyone in the world, no matter how intelligent, who hasn’t had a difficult time in at least one class. This, in addition to the fact that tutors are often either still in school or recently graduated, creates a sense of empathy.
