What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The best part about tutoring is when the student finally understands the concept you have been working on and their face lights up with joy. I also enjoy exploring all the ways a student can come to an answer and seeing them make connections in mathematics.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe one of my strengths in tutoring is using effective teaching styles to best suit the student. I enjoy using manipulatives and tactile materials to explore mathematical questions to turn abstract concepts in to concrete materials. I believe another one of my strengths is being able to create a safe learning environment for the student and allowing them to feel comfortable in the learning space.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe it is very important to understand the way the student learns and finding strategies which works best for them. I also consider building an effective relationship between the teacher and student important. This is because I believe it is has a great impact on their learning and is important to their success.
