What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to help someone achieve their potential, it is a very rewarding experience. Early in my academic career I found that talking to other peers, a teacher or even oneself deepens understanding. Faith struggles with addition. She often makes silly mistakes and rushes to her answer (an example, she sometimes makes the mistake 2 + 8 = 11). Initially was she lacked confidence in herself but this quickly began to improve. Faith still counts with her fingers. We will work on this. Next lesson we will focus on simple addition and rainbow numbers. This will help address the counting on fingers. We will also tackle some basic multiplication and devision.
Ruairi managed to grasp the basic concepts of differentiation, though he lacks understanding. Ruairi demonstrated a positive attitude towards his learning.
