What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love helping people! It brings me so much joy when I see an improvement in students' work and that they take on the feedback that I give them. I also find it very rewarding and heart-warming when I receive positive feedback, and that my advice has inspired them.

I think some of my key strengths as a tutor are my kindness, patience, and passion for the written word. I adore all things writing and it makes me happy to read a well-written sentence! I'm always willing to help any student with whatever problem they have, no matter how complex it is. We will solve it together!

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things a tutor can offer is patience. Sometimes elements of a subject can be hard to understand and it is our duty as tutors to be patient and help them. We must provide examples and try explaining the problem in different ways — no two students are the same, so we must alter our approach to fit a student's needs. I also think it's important for a tutor to offer encouragement and celebrate a student's achievements. When a student has been struggling and they improve, it is vital to celebrate their work and show them how far they have come.
