What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
There are several aspects about tutoring which i thoroughly enjoy, however, if i were to specifically address one it would be the feeling of joy that is received upon helping someone with a difficulty and them consequently progressing within that area. For example, i used to mentor singers in the Worship team whom had singing challenges and low-self esteem. Through setting tasks, guidance and positive reinforcement, the same singers now have higher vocal rangers, better musical knowledge and a greater level of confidence.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience: I am a firm believer of delayed gratification and understand anything rewarding will take hard work and time. As highlighted through the patience i had with my singers in developing them. Analytical Background: My problem solving skills allow me to precisely identify issues and form a plan to solve them. This can be exhibited when i identified a lack of musical knowledge within my singers and organised a course utilising a vocal professional. Positive Mindset: I have a friendly, caring and naturally positive personality which allows me to easily motivate and encourage people.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to never give up on them. Such a tutor, whom is demotivating, doesn't care and has a lack of patience will also cause the student to reflect the same behaviour towards the area of difficulty. The student will develop an attitude which lacks motivation, work ethic and form low self-esteem. When i was in Primary school, my maths results were not the best. Due to this difficulty, i thought i would never be able to become an Engineer. However, through the guidance of my tutor, i was able to achieve my dreams.Subjects Tutored 🎓
