What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I believe there is a lot of satisfaction when you are struggling at something then finally work it out. From a students perspective this is always a great feeling, and I would love to be a part of that helping process, so that I can impart whatever I have learnt to students to help them with their studies.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am currently studying in university in a Maths based degree, so I am in the mindset of learning and helping others out as well and I am not out of touch with the content since I am studying on a daily basis. Studying in university also helps learn new topics and tricks to tackle problems in ways that might not have been taught in school, which can be very useful for students. I also think I am hard working, so I will try my best to understand and teach myself topics I might not know so that I can be as helpful to the student as possible.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things for a tutor is to be patient with a student. I believe that it is important to explain concepts in different ways and as many times as required in order for the student to understand it, without getting impatient. I also think that as a tutor, it is important for me to acknowledge if I am unsure about something as well, in order to avoid giving false information. Acknowledging this would then lead me as a tutor to also revise in my own time whatever is required so that I am better equipped to then tutor the student.
