What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy building rapport with the individual I am teaching, and especially that particular feeling of excitement when something finally clicks for them!
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My people-person personality makes getting along with people extremely easy, and my patience makes explaining concepts more than once makes me approachable. My strong communication skills allow me to understand where individuals are getting stuck, and breakdown the material from there.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
In my opinion, a tutor is most useful when marked improvement can be seen where a student struggles, often shown through grades or confidence. As a tutor I have loved giving students the feeling of empowerment when they both truly understand and can apply content I have explained.

Hunter’s writing, and creativity has greatly improved, and he can write fairly fluently with little prompting. His editing has also become better, as he notices his use of capital letters and fullstops on his own more frequently.
While Hunter did very well for his first time writing dialogue with me, there is still plenty of room for improvement, especially as it is a difficult topic. Hunter could also stand to write a bit faster.
- Hunter is able to come up with persuasive arguments with ease - when given a prompt Hunter is able to write a fair amount, and lead on relatively smoothly
- Hunter is able to come up with persuasive arguments with ease - when given a prompt Hunter is able to write a fair amount, and lead on relatively smoothly
- when stuck, Hunter should look to include details or edit, before giving up - needs to include more detail, to avoid writing a list fo events rather than a story
- Hunter was able to decide on a story unguided and utilise the strategies we have been developing

- Hunter needs to consider the rationality of a story - and avoid fix-all moments and/or characters - he could stand to edit more without prompting, as when prompted he always knows what to do
