What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
There is something I thoroughly enjoy about watching students triumph over the hardships and challenges present in front of them. When there is a problem they have been stuck on for a while and they finally solve it the joy instilled within them is something I want to be apart of. Also, I'm a huge believer that anyone can be taught anything, it's a matter of how it's done. Instilling the things you learn and the culmination of your experiences to those who are walking in the steps you previously walked is something that gives me gratification and a sense of pride.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my biggest strengths as a tutor is my ability to thoroughly understand what specifically it is in the student's mind that is confusing them and then be able to try a multitude of approaches to help untangle the confusion and ultimately make them understand the topic at hand. Every subject is simple if it's broken down into simpler building blocks. Another one of my strengths is I am extremely patient and supportive in guiding the student to the answer, without showing them what it is. The true answers that stick with you in life are the ones you find on your own.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things a teacher can do for their student is to listen. Not to listen to think of the next response but to listen to understand. I believe as a teacher listening specifically to WHAT the student is asking not HOW they are asking it is one of the most valuable and important skills I've learned to develop. When a student is confused with something it is hard for them to express specifically what it is they are confused with. It is up to the role of a teacher or a tutor to then figure out what the issue/gap in their knowledge is and then to assist them in filling it in. Next would be having the capability to transform highly specialized information into bite-sized simplified comprehensible forms.

She understood and picked up the content well, especially learning a new method from scratch. Look forward to working with her in the future :)
