What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The part I enjoy most about tutoring is that you have the opportunity to get to know an individual's strengths and weaknesses and learn the best ways to help them. I have a strong passion for English and I think it would be amazing to be able to continue analysing texts and passing on my love for the subject.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I think one of my strengths as a tutor is that despite having strong communication skills, I am also a good listener. I also have the patience needed for the job and am perceptive enough to judge the student's emotions and how they feel about a topic. Another strength is that I can sympathise with the student's struggles and understand the content they're working on as I have just finished high school.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most important thing a tutor can do is to build up a student's self belief so they can continue improving and reach their goals, whether they be academic or not. Tutoring is about giving a student the space they need to make mistakes, and teaching them that it is okay to make them. It is important that a student and tutor can build up a relationship where the student feels that they are being supported and as if they can lead the tutoring session into directions they may be struggling with.
