What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find it very fulfilling being able to challenge yourself by drawing on your academic and interpersonal skills to help develop someone else's skills and teach them new things. Tutoring allows me to do just that.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I am a very empathetic person and find it very easy to connect with and understand students which allows for better learning as I can tailor my approach to suit them. I am also very reliable and will inspire confidence for the student in myself.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

As a tutor, I believe the most important trait is to be inspiring to those you are tutoring. Although a tutor can be successful and have the skills required to help their student, they cannot achieve much without inspiring their student. It is easy for students to disengage from tutors who are not inspiring even if they are trying to help their students. To inspire students, a tutor should take an active interest in them by really listening to them and being able to empathise with them and understand what they need help with, but then be able to demonstrate how their students can improve.
