What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find tutoring incredibly rewarding, as it’s fulfilling to see my students overcome challenges, improve their skills, and gain confidence in their abilities.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My greatest strength as a tutor is my ability to break down complex topics into simple, easily understandable concepts for my students. I am also patient and creative in my approach, often incorporating engaging methods like games to enhance learning. Additionally, I prioritise encouragement, ensuring my students stay positive and motivated, even when faced with challenging problems.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe one of the most vital things a tutor can do for their student is to be organised and provide well-structured lessons. It is also crucial for a tutor to motivate and encourage their student while being honest and providing constructive feedback to support their growth.

About Jude

Who am I???

Hi, I’m Jude Praveen John, a second-year Biomedical Engineering student at RMIT University. I have a strong foundation in mathematics, science, and English, and I enjoy helping students build their confidence and skills in these subjects.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience tutoring Year 2 and Year 7 students, tailoring lessons to their different skill levels. For Year 2 students, I focus on building foundational skills in reading, writing, and basic math through interactive and engaging activities. For Year 7 students, I provide more structured lessons, covering advanced grammar, writing techniques, and NAPLAN mathematics, ensuring they develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My approach adapts to each student's needs, making learning both effective and enjoyable.

My Teaching Approach

I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges. I encourage active learning through practice exercises, discussions, and real-world examples. My goal is to help students gain confidence in their abilities while developing independent problem-solving skills that will benefit them beyond tutoring sessions.
