My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths in tutoring are being able to simplify mathematical concepts through simple, everyday objects and allow students to learn them faster. Weaknesses include being too friendly with the students. Though this can be a strength as it allows easier communication between the students and I, it does, however, allow the students to perceive me as a friend, and so when told to do certain things may easily choose not to do them. In these circumstances I would affirm my role as a tutor, or warn them that I would tell their parents if they did not do what was told.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing about tutoring is to ensure the students learn strategies to learn new mathematical concepts, so they can succeed on their own. This is because if a tutor were to consistenly helep a student by giving answers, the tutor is not going to accompany the students into their exams, and so the students may feel lost without the tutor.
