My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are explaining the topic/problem in simple language so that the student can understand. In most cases, students struggle with understanding what the problem is actually asking, so by breaking the question up into simple blocks, the student will understand what is being asked. Another strength would be patience, I understand it is quite hard to be patient while tutoring, but patience is critical. It is important to give time for the student’s learning as each student is different, some learn fast but others are a bit slow.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to instil confidence and passion for the subject. Although I understand achieving high grades is what all parents are after, I believe that by instilling confidence and passion for a subject, the student will immediately start to show excellent results. Hence, a tutor’s responsibility is to motivate the student, develop self-confidence and passion. These are critical for a student’s success and hence it is essential to have a good teacher/tutor as they can make or break a child’s success.
