What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring provides me the opportunity to pass on my knowledge to help students excel in school and their academic endeavours. It is an experience that enhances your teaching skills, and helps build self-confidence. Seeing your own student achieving their desired results is a rewarding bonus that also reflects well on your teaching.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have strong written and verbal communication skills, able to coherently explain information to students. As a former student, especially one that relied on maths tutoring, I understand the methods that tutors employ to effectively teach and help students understand maths concepts and solve problems. I also understand that different students learn at a different rate, and I adapt to find a different approach more suitable and optimal to that student's learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Firstly, improve a student's knowledge and understanding of the tutored subject, ensuring they are familiar with the required theory and are able to apply their knowledge to application format questions. That is the most important thing a tutor can provide, as well as the core purpose of the job. Secondly, a tutor can provide resources to help a student study for the subject when they are not with the tutor. Thirdly, giving their students various tips, not just on how to excel in that subject, but studying and educational tips for the future beneficial even for tertiary studies.
