What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy my student's recognising and figuring out their own way to problem solving rather than giving out formulaic methods and answers. As a tutor, I strive to continuously look for areas of improvement and challenging topics which I can target for future references. The overall experience of being able to answer my student's questions and clarifying their pre-conceived knowledge is extremely rewarding.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my main strength is patience. I believe that students come in different capabilities and areas of strength. Having personally tutored 4 students from Melbourne High School, Caulfield Grammar and Glen Waverley Secondary College during my Year 12 studies, I am well versed in the course curriculum and respective study designs.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do would be to maintain a strict regimen on what is expected in a student. Students that are set in the easy and slow pace that their classroom teachers assert themselves will fall behind easily. It is vital that a tutor recognise and go the extra mile to attain new resources and schedules for their student to maintain. That is, students must be pushed towards a particular direction and mindset in order to succeed. Grilling an attitude of hard work and discipline is necessary as a tutor.
